1. Parts of Speech:

Noun: Names a person, place, thing, or idea.

Preposition: Shows a relationship between words in a sentence.

2. Sentence Structure:

A sentence is a group of words that expresses a complete thought.
It consists of a subject (who or what the sentence is about) and a predicate (what the subject is doing).
3. Tenses:

Present Simple: Used for general facts, habits, and routines.
Present Continuous: Expresses actions happening at the moment or around now.
Present Perfect: Connects the past to the present and emphasizes the result.
Past Simple: Describes completed actions in the past.
Past Continuous: Expresses actions that were ongoing in the past.
Past Perfect: Shows an action that occurred before another action in the past.
Future Simple: Expresses future actions or predictions.
Future Continuous: Describes actions that will be ongoing in the future.
Future Perfect: Shows an action that will be completed before a specific point in the future.
4. Active and Passive Voice:

In active voice, the subject performs the action.
In passive voice, the subject receives the action. The form is “object + be verb + past participle.”
5. Direct and Indirect Speech:

Direct speech repeats the exact words spoken.
Indirect speech reports what someone said without using their exact words and often requires changes in pronouns, tenses, and word order.
6. Articles:

Definite Article (the): Used before a specific noun.
Indefinite Articles (a, an): Used before non-specific nouns.
7. Subject-Verb Agreement:

A singular subject requires a singular verb, and a plural subject requires a plural verb.
8. Relative Clauses:

Relative clauses provide additional information about a noun.
“Who,” “which,” “that,” and “whose” are common relative pronouns.
9. Conditional Sentences:

Conditional sentences express hypothetical situations and their consequences.
There are zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditionals.
10. Gerunds and Infinitives:

Gerunds are verbs ending in “-ing” used as nouns.
Infinitives are the base form of a verb preceded by “to” and can be used as nouns, adjectives, or adverbs.
