Parts of Speech:

Noun: Names a person, place, thing, or idea.
Pronoun: Takes the place of a noun.
Verb: Expresses an action or state of being.
Adjective: Describes or modifies a noun.
Adverb: Modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb.
Conjunction: Connects words, phrases, or clauses.
Preposition: Shows the relationship between nouns/pronouns and other words.
Interjection: Expresses strong emotions and is often followed by an exclamation point.
Sentence Structure:

A sentence consists of a subject (who or what the sentence is about) and a predicate (the action or description).
Sentences can be classified as simple, compound, complex, or compound-complex based on their structure.
Tenses:

Present Simple: Used for general truths, habitual actions, and regular events.
Present Continuous: Used for actions happening at the moment of speaking or for planned future actions.
Present Perfect: Used for actions completed in the past with a connection to the present.
Past Simple: Used for actions that occurred and were completed in the past.
Past Continuous: Used for actions that were ongoing in the past.
Past Perfect: Used to express an action completed before another past action.
Future Simple: Used for predictions, promises, and spontaneous decisions.
Future Continuous: Used for actions that will be ongoing in the future.
Future Perfect: Used to express an action that will be completed before a certain point in the future.
Subject-Verb Agreement:

Verbs must agree in number (singular or plural) with their subjects.
Modifiers and Parallelism:

Adjectives and adverbs should be placed correctly to ensure clarity and avoid ambiguity.
Parallelism refers to using the same grammatical structure for similar ideas in a sentence or series of sentences.
Punctuation:

Period (.), Question Mark (?), Exclamation Point (!): Used to end sentences with different tones.
Comma (,): Used to separate items in a list, set off introductory elements, and indicate pauses.
Semi-Colon (;): Used to connect related independent clauses.
Colon (:): Used before lists, explanations, or quotes.
Apostrophe (‘): Used to indicate possession or contraction.
Quotation Marks (” “): Used to enclose direct speech or quotations.
Articles:

“A” and “an” are indefinite articles used before singular nouns.
“The” is the definite article used before specific nouns.
Active and Passive Voice:

Relative Clauses:

These clauses provide additional information about a noun and usually start with words like “who,” “whom,” “whose,” “which,” or “that.”
Modal Verbs:

Modal verbs (e.g., can, could, may, might, must, shall, should, will, would) are used to express possibility, necessity, permission, and more.
